- You have ONLY talked to people who can tell you the effects of ^A in
- combination with the Mac editor paradigm. Sure, the combination is awkward.
- But I think we should rather start thinking about changing the Mac paradigm
- (about time, it's 10 years or older now), which I have done in the Edith
- editor.

- People who have opposed your point so far have always used experience:
- for example Warwick who suggested that an unrecoverable action on a whole
- document should ask for a confirmation. Such a suggestion is clearly based
- on large (constructive) experience. You're just basing you arguments on
- a bad experience you once had, and you cannot even come up with more than
- two lines worth of explaining why control + A is so bad.
